My very first impression of To Kill a Mockingbird was that it was much better than Huck Finn😂😂. Unlike Huck i can really understand the language being used in TKAM and i can better relate to the characters whenI know what they are saying. It is a little weird though how it's written from scouts POV because you kind of have a child writing but she uses really big words. Like you can tell that she is very smart because of her vocab, but then at other times she goes of on tangents or stories that really show how young she actually is (which is very young, i didn't expect that). I think that atticus's quote from the book does reflect the secret lives we live because it supports the idea that we will never really know all that goes on in a mother persons life. Also my character is Atticus so i really got to see a lot of his personality in the very beginning of the book. You can see that he is very caring and that he is very wise as well even though it says he hasn't had an extensive education. (I wasn't here for the discussion so Mr.Heidt just said to skip that part)
1. Why have the kids taken such an interest in getting Boo Radley to come out when they are so scared of him?
2. How are Jem and Scout different and/or alike?
